道歉只会说sorry？看看AEIS考试教材中还有哪些说法

　　英语是AEIS考试中必考科目之一，英语对某些考生来说比较容易，但对某些考生来说还是比较难的。下面新加坡AEIS考试培训中心带来道歉的多种英文表达。

　　If you think you have hurt someone or made them feel bad, you might want to say sorry to them. Here are some expressions you can use when apologising:

　　如果你认为你伤害了某人或者让他们感觉不好，你可能想对他们说声对不起。以下是一些道歉时可以使用的表达方式：

　　I’m (really/ terribly/ so) sorry for being late. It won’t happen again.

　　我真的很抱歉迟到了。这种事不会再发生了。

　　Please excuse my late response.

　　请原谅我晚到的回复。

　　I apologise for not calling earlier.

　　我为没有早点打给你表示歉意。

　　I’d like to apologise for not returning your call.

　　我很抱歉没有给你回电话。

　　My apologies for the delay.

　　我为耽搁道歉。

　　Please accept my apology for the inconvenience.

　　不便之处，请接受我的歉意。

　　I’m afraid I can’t help you.

　　恐怕我帮不了你。

　　Excuse me for interrupting.

　　对不起打断一下。

　　Sorry about the mess. I didn’t have time to clear it up.

　　抱歉我把这儿弄得一团乱，我没时间将它打扫干净。

　　Forgive me for what I said earlier. I didn’t mean to hurt you.

　　请原谅我刚才说的话。我不是有意伤害你的。

　　I shouldn’t have said that. Don’t be mad at me.

　　Pardon me for being so rude.

　　原谅我如此粗鲁无礼。

　　I regret to inform you that your application has been denied. (formal)

　　我很遗憾地通知你，你的申请被拒绝了。(正式)

　　I beg your pardon. / Pardon. / Sorry. (used, for example, when stepping on someone’s foot)
