　　连词conjunction，缩写为conj.，是用来连接多个词或句，表示某种逻辑关系的虚词，可以表并列、承接、转折、因果、选择、假设、比较、让步等关系。

　　1. 表示平行对等的或选择的连词有：and, both....and, as well as neither ..nor, or, either.. or 等。

　　Wash the white clothes together, and the blue one separately.

　　那些白衣服放在一起洗， 这件蓝的要单洗。

　　No matter how careful you are, you can neither nor control the future.

　　不管你多么小心，你都不能预知或控制未来。

　　Are you against it or for it?

　　你对此事是反对还是赞成?

　　2. 表示转折的连词有：but ,however, yet, although, on the contrary, while等。

　　The car was old, yet it was in excellent condition.

　　3. 表示因果关系的并列连词有：or, so, therefore, as a result ,because of ,due to, owing to, thanks to等。

　　4. 表示时间顺序的连词有：at first, then, later, meanwhile, in the end, finally, after that ,since then, for the first time, at last, as soon as, the next moment等。

　　5. 表示解释说明的连词有：that is(to say),in other words, such as ,for example, for instance, and so on等。

　　6. 表示递进关系的连词有：what's more/worse, what's better, besides, in addition, worse still, moreover, above all, not only...but also等。
