　　词义解析：

　　介词：在…下方;到…下方

　　John hid himself beneath the bed. 约翰藏在床底下。

　　be beneath sb 对…来说不够好

　　This action was beneath him. 这个行为对他来说有失身份。

　　副词：在下面

　　She looked out of the window at the children playing beneath. 她透过窗户看着孩子们在下面玩耍。
