　　1、开头段常用句型总结

　　AEIS考试作文中，开头段我们需要做到如下几点：简述所读文章的主旨，并且罗列作者为说明主旨所用的evidence， reasoning，stylistic以及persuasive elements。我们可以用一下几种句型来描写：

　　(1) In response to…, writer ** argues that… in his article “**”. He effectively builds his argument by using…, and…

　　(2) In the article, “**” by **, he makes an argument claiming that … Strategies are employed to support his argument including…, and... **’s overall purpose in writing this article is to draw attention towards..., with primary audience being every single concerned citizen.

　　2、主体段常用句型总结

　　主体段的写作包括这几个要点：分析所读文章中运用的论证方法、修辞手法;分析这些论证方法和修辞手法所起到的效果。通常，主体段落可根据具体情况确定写两段还是三段，各段的Topic Sentence可以采用下列两套句型：

　　Sample 1:** starts his article off by recounting…**’s argument is also furthered by his use of…Finally, ** makes subtle yet efficient use of…

　　Sample 2:In his introduction paragraph, ** employs…In paragraph 5, ** utilizes…In paragraph 6, ** follows up on the point established in paragraph 5 by introducing…

　　AEIS写作的尾段很简单，只需要重申一下所读文章的主旨以及作者所用的论证及修辞即可，但要注意与首段句型的区别，可以借鉴如下几个句型： (1) Through… and…, ** conveys his beliefs that...

　　(2) Overall, ** provides a strong logical argument that... He employs…, and… for his point.

　　(3) **’s use of… and… establish his argument of…, and persuade his audience of the need to do so.

　　(4) Writing as a reaction to his disappointment that…, ** argues that... He builds this claim by…, and…
